1 package herbal turkey stuffing (e.g., Pepperidge Farms)
2 cups chicken broth
1/4 cup white wine
1/4 cup chopped/slivered almonds
1 apple, chopped in approx. 1/8″ x 1/2″ x 1/2″ sections
1 med white onion chopped
1 stick celery chopped 1/8″ sections
Mix stuffing package, broth, and apple sections well. Pour wine over mixture. Pour in almonds and turn over mixture a few times to mix in the almonds.
The apple adds a subtle flavor and helps keep the stuffing from drying out.
Add more or less wine/almonds to taste.
Alternative recipe, double the wine and drink it and leave it out of the stuffing.
